Another vendor bites the dust… the economy

December 27th, 2008

Well I got a sad phone call, just a few days before Christmas.  One of my reps for perhaps my biggest vendor was on the line.  He was letting me know that the company he worked for shut its doors.

Quandry

I owe this company money for two jobs.  I’m not sure what the implications are so I’ll tuck that dough away and if they come calling I’ll have it ready.

Fuel prices

I’d be happy about gas prices, if I wasn’t in fear that I’d have no work soon.  I gassed up for $1.30 a gallon a couple of days ago.

PSB Upgraded

December 14th, 2008

Pro Sound Blog is powered by Wordpress, the best blog engine on this planet.  I’ve just upgraded to WP 2.7.  You may not see a difference in the front end, but I’m punching in a post to test the functionality and test out the back end features.

So far so good.

Hell project almost over

December 14th, 2008

I’ll be popping a bottle of champagne soon.  The project I mistakenly committed to, which was supposed to end in July, will be ending in the next week or two.  That’s FIVE freakin’ months overdue.
